In connection with the zoning for Gromstul there were during the summer/autumn of 2017 carried out extensive surveys on the site. Cultural heritage registration was carried out and some findings were defined as “automatically protected”. The project has applied and received the Directorate for Cultural Heritage dispensation from the “automatically protected” decision. It implies that archaeological excavations of the “automatically protected” cultural findings must be carried out within the plan area before other activities on site can be carried out

There are findings of potential Stone Age grave and several stone clearings as well as coalmills and a possible hollowway:
The archaeologists will complete their field work in early November 2018.
