Visit at Fossum by the Minister of Trade and Industry!
Minister of Trade and Industry was during spring 2018 invited by leading politicians in Skien and Site Telemark to Skien and Gromstul for a full project presentation and update. The Minister arrived the Fossum residence the 25th of July 2018 where he was met by the Mayor of Skien Hedda Foss Five, the County Mayor of Telemark Sven Tore Løkslid, the landowner Leopold Løvenskiold, CEO Statkraft Cristian Rynning-Tønnesen, SVP Statkraft Bjørn Holsen and the group leader Skien Høyre Jan Terje Olsen.
The project presentations and lunch took place in the museum of the Fossum residence, followed by a site visit at Gromstul “tower”.
The Minister was exited by the presentations and the site visit and expressed that “Norway needs to establish a first-off data hyperscale center. Skien and Site Telemark is likely to be that first.”
